Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred but not required)
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented mentality
- Computer literate, working with multiple apps, google sheets and ipad
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to be adaptable and quickly learn new skills as needed
Responsibilities
- Dispense Prescription medication under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Print, Dispensing, Packaging, and Dispatching orders, ensuring notes and valid addresses are checked.
- Solve delivering issues and report any observed issues to the Pharmacist.
- Prefill medication, ensuring bottles are prefilled and sufficient stock is on hand.
- Dispense orders for Lightning Rx.
- Assist the Dermatica team with dispensing, filling, and packing of orders.
- Receive deliveries, unload them, and organize stock.
- Support Pharmacists with other designated tasks, potentially including projects to optimize the pharmacy and enhance compliance.
- Assist with inventory counts, including pulling expired medication.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Compound batches.
- Bottle batches and label them.
- Ensure batches are properly labeled.
- Ensure batch sheets are properly filled out before and during the compounding process, taking photos during the compounding process.
- Perform proper cleaning and sanitizing of the room and ensure daily logs are filled out to show compliance with SOPs.
