About The Position
Advanced Rx is a compounding pharmacy in Fort Washington, PA, that creates custom medications for patients across the US and is currently growing. No certification or prior pharmacy experience is required, as the company hires based on attitude and trains for skill. Pennsylvania requires pharmacy technicians to register with the state, and Advanced Rx will assist with this process before the start date and provide full paid on-site training. There are two openings: Lab Technician (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) and Fulfillment Technician (10:30 AM – 7:00 PM).
Requirements
- A positive, can-do attitude
- A keen eye for detail and a steady hand
- Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to pass a background check (required for PA pharmacy technician registration)
Responsibilities
- Operate compounding equipment (mixers, encapsulation machines) to create custom medications.
- Advance into weighing chemicals and compounding complex medication forms.
- Operate capsule-counting machines.
- Fill patient-specific prescriptions in pharmacy software.
- Prepare shipments.
