PRN PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for screening prescription orders for accuracy and completeness, preparing prescriptions by retrieving, counting, pouring, and measuring, and performing calculations. They will also perform medication reconciliation and utilize technology for patient records, medication preparation, and ordering. The role requires demonstrating empathy and active listening during patient encounters, possessing outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A clear understanding and adherence to HIPPA guidelines are essential, along with a strong ability to multitask.
