Requirements

Currently licensed pharmacy technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills
Ability to work independently
Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record

Nice To Haves

Hospital experience preferred
Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians preferred
Computer experience preferred
Experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products preferred
May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Responsibilities

Dispensing and distribution of medications (including individual patient prescriptions ward stock and narcotics)
Non-sterile and sterile compounding (including TPN, CIVA and chemotherapy preparation)
Inventory control
Other duties as assigned
