Pharmacy Technician - Mail order/Closed Pharmacy

GEMCORE is seeking a highly motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician for GEM Edwards Pharmacy, a division of GEMCORE Health. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 5:00 pm, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays required.
Requirements
- State Certified Pharmacy Technician or imminent plans to become Certified within 6 months.
- 2 years pharmacy experience with 3rd party rejection resolution preferred.
- Ability to work in a rapidly growing and fast paced environment
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent telecommunication skills and superb customer service
- Proficient word processing abilities as well as computer/system navigation
- High School diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Prior PioneerRx experience will be extremely beneficial
Responsibilities
- Data entry of new and refill prescriptions
- Filling of new and refill prescriptions
- Maintain sufficient and accurate inventory
- Resolve third party issues with payers and providers
- Phone calls to assist with business associates, patients, and providers needs and/or relays information to administrative support staff to complete calls as needed
- Coordinate vast interdepartmental patient care and service
- Participate and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance improvement meetings
- Assist Compliance Department to ensure pharmacy operations and personnel are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
