About The Position

CompleteRx is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time (3 days per week) or full-time (4 days per week) position at Moore County Hospital District, a 25-bed acute care hospital in Dumas, Texas. This role offers an opportunity to work in a hospital setting and grow your pharmacy skills. The work schedule for the full-time position is 32 hours/week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday), and for the part-time position is 24 hours/week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). The daily hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pharmacy is closed during evenings and on weekends. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Possess current pharmacy technician registration in the State of Texas.
Possess current National Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Nice To Haves

Six months of pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
Possess I.V. Certification or willing to obtain it within six months of your hire date.
Successful completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training course is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders.
Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts, and floor stock accurately.
Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately.
Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately.
Rotates stock to ensure use before the expiration date.
Picks up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.
Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately.
Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs.
