About The Position
Orlando Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution while working alongside pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient patient care. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Up to one (1) year of pharmacy technician experience.
- Current Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration required.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution.
- Operate pharmacy software, equipment, and automated dispensing systems.
- Maintain USP 797 standards and regulatory documentation.
- Apply proper aseptic techniques and safe medication handling practices.
- Support inventory management and medication procurement.
- Participate in departmental training, meetings, and continuing education.
- Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
