About The Position

Apotheco Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about patient care. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and processing prescriptions, managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, maintaining a clean pharmacy, verifying insurance, applying coupons, processing payments, and updating patient information. Strong phone presence is essential, requiring friendliness, professionalism, and clear communication skills. While prior pharmacy experience is not mandatory, it is considered a plus.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required.
• Pharmacy Technician licenses required to start.
• Excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in pharmacy or other related Healthcare fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service!
• Label and prepare products for patients.
• Process prescriptions using computer software.
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
• Coordinate patient deliveries.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
• Complete insurance verification.
• Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable.
• Bill and charge credit cards.
• Keep patient information up to date.
