About The Position
Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Registered Pharmacy Technician to our team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full time opportunity working 6am to 2:30pm and every other weekend! This is an entry level position and the perfect opportunity to gain experience in a clinical setting. This candidate will deliver medications to patient floors and stock the Omnicell dispensing cabinet. This candidate will assist with duties within the central pharmacy. A Pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida is required for this position.
Requirements
- Pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida is required
- High School Diploma Required
- Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy Required
- Less than 1 year Technician Experience
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
- Maintaining the drug inventory.
- Maintaining patient records.
- Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Deliver medications to patient floors
- Stock the Omnicell dispensing cabinet
- Assist with duties within the central pharmacy
