About The Position

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services, is seeking high-energy, positive individuals to join their pharmacy technician team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring specialty prescriptions are processed, dispensed, and shipped appropriately to patients. This role is crucial in the mission to make medicine safer, more affordable, and accessible for millions of Americans. The position is an onsite role at the Orlando, FL location and is a Band 1 Professional Career Track Role.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required
Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
Basic math skills
General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet and email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Responsibilities

Select and retrieve appropriate quantities of medication and prepare corresponding labels.
Ensure patients receive the medication they need in a timely manner.
Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure medications are adequately filled and support quality goals.
Deliver administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.
Define procedures under close supervision.
Verify, print prescriptions, and perform routine duties.
Pick up medication and assist on the packing line.
Process requests for new and refill prescriptions.
Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles.
Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescriptions.
Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment.
Enclose client-specified materials to orders.
Affix shipping labels on packages and sort by carrier.
Clean equipment and replenish workstation supplies like pill bottles, caps, boxes, and paper.
Assist pharmacist with deliveries, inventory control, equipment cleaning, and inbound phone calls.
