About The Position

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for its Pharmacy Office in Orlando, Florida. This role involves collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver excellent pharmacy service, with a focus on accuracy and customer service. The ideal candidate is a compassionate team collaborator, self-starter, and possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, capable of prioritizing competing requests in a fast-paced environment. The work performed will support Devereux’s Centers nationwide with pharmacy-related needs, contributing significantly to the provision of services to individuals.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Certified Pharmacy PTCB required
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office products
  • Strong customer service skills and team player with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Multi-tasker with ability to meet deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and car is required

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of three (3) years previous hospital, long-term care or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pharmaceutical supplies according to established pharmacy procedures
  • Fill and bill for pharmaceutical supplies to all units of pharmacy under supervision of pharmacist
  • Assist with inventory control including receiving and stocking of pharmacy supplies
  • Complete and submit pharmacy related and required documents and paperwork, e.g., prescription records, reports, monthly medication charge and usage reports
  • Other duties as assigned
