Per Diem, Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician works at Riddle Hospital with a Registered Pharmacist to fill and deliver medication orders, prepare IV medications, and inspect and organize inventory. The role supports patient care and requires learning and becoming proficient in pharmacy computer systems, aseptic technique for IV preparations, and medications routinely stocked in the pharmacy. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong background in math.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of computers, aseptic technique for IV preparations, and medications routinely stocked in the pharmacy.
- Must be a certified Pharmacy Technician, enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy program, or progressing toward a PharmD.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
