The role involves managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions while providing excellent customer service. It's a fast-paced environment where individuals can learn about medicines, fill prescriptions, understand healthcare operations, interact with patients, and troubleshoot insurance. New Pharmacy Technicians are required to complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all state registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Duties will be restricted initially until requirements are met, after which there are opportunities to build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge. The company is looking for 1 to 2 part-time pharmacy technicians, offering flexible scheduling and extended hours, making it suitable for students or those looking to enter the healthcare field. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state

Mathematical Reasoning: The ability to use math to solve a problem, such as calculating day’s supply of a prescription
Problem Resolution: Is able to judge when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong; recognizing there is a problem; Choosing the best course of action when faced with a complex situation with several available options

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
High School diploma or equivalent
