Prn Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for the following job duties: Screen prescription orders for accuracy and completeness, prepare prescriptions by retrieving, counting, pouring, measuring, etc., perform calculations, and perform medication reconciliation. They will use technology to help maintain accurate patient records, prepare and package medications, and place orders. The role requires demonstrating empathy and active listening during patient encounters, possessing outstanding customer service skills, and working well under pressure. A clear understanding of HIPAA guidelines and ensuring compliance in all situations is essential. Strong multitasking abilities are also required.
