About The Position

Provide crucial technical support and pharmacy services to the Pharmacist, ensuring the accurate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders. Maintain the continuity of patient care by precisely preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounds and managing the repackaging of bulk medications. Optimize pharmacy workflow and inventory by refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems and efficiently managing incoming supplies and department stock. Serve as a communication liaison, triaging incoming calls and providing essential information between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Licensed Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Pharmacy Intern obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
