Pharmacy Technician, Inventory
About The Position
Northside Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for its inventory-focused role. The technician assists pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders and performs technical duties related to handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech IV demonstrates proficiency in four or more functional areas, including production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. The position provides patient care services to adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient infusion pharmacy satellite. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
- Experience in inventory.
