About The Position
Assists pharmacists in processing medication orders for inpatients and outpatients. Performs technical tasks associated with the preparation, packaging, and dispensing of medications. Prepares reports and delivers completed medication orders to nursing units. Participates in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement activities. Complies with all appropriate safety and infection control standards. Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a courteous and customer-focused manner according to the Hurley Family Standards of Behavior. Works under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist who assigns and checks work for proper completion and conformance with established procedures.
