About The Position

Pharmacy Technician at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Per Diem, and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assists in all phases of departmental operations including dispensing, sterile product preparation, data entry, report generation, packaging, record keeping, stocking, delivering, billing and clerical duties. No item prepared by a Pharmacy Technician may leave the department prior to being checked by a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Certified Checker Technician. Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician internship or equivalent education/experience.
• Pharmacy Technician training course or equivalent education/experience.
• California Pharmacy Technician License.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience.
• I.V. Admixture experience.
• Unit Dose experience.
