Pharmacy Technician – Part-Time Hospital Coverage
About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time coverage assignment at an inpatient behavioral health facility in Waukegan, IL. This role will support daily pharmacy operations including medication filling and delivery to units. The assignment requires 2-3 days of training prior to start. HCS and Omnicell experience is preferred, but training is available. The dress code includes scrubs (black/gray) or business casual attire with closed-toe shoes required, and professional appearance standards are enforced onsite. Credentialing requirements include a background check (attestation accepted), drug screen (attestation accepted), HIPAA training, Code of Conduct attestation.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Ability to be on feet/walking for extended periods
- Reliable and consistent availability for ongoing coverage
