About The Position

Pharmacy Innovations is looking for a motivated individual to join their team full-time. They are part of a growing pharmacy group with locations across multiple states, offering the personal feel of a local business with the benefits and stability of a larger organization. For those new to the field, Pennsylvania requires Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy, and the company will assist with the registration process and provide comprehensive hands-on training for a long-term career in pharmacy.

Requirements

Must possess or be able to obtain before employment begins, an active Pharmacy Technician Trainee registration (or higher credential) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
High school diploma or equivalent
Comfortable learning and working in multiple software programs
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to stand for 6–8 hours per day
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Experience with MS Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

Greeting and assisting customers with excellent service
Entering patient demographics and processing prescription claims
Compounding non-sterile medications in our lab
Counting, packaging, labeling, and organizing prescription orders
Preparing and packaging customer orders for shipping
Receiving and processing incoming shipments of drug products and ancillary supplies
Handling inbound calls, identifying customer needs, and routing calls appropriately
Building strong customer relationships by going the extra mile
Meeting personal and team performance goals
Other clerical tasks as assigned
