About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking customer service-driven individuals with a passion for healthcare to join our Pharmacy Technician Trainee Program, set to begin July 7th, 2026. This program offers full pay ($16.20/hour) plus benefits for a 12-week training period in West Salem. The in-house, accredited program provides the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to prepare for the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). Training includes hands-on learning at pharmacies in the Holmen, Onalaska, and La Crosse areas. Upon successful completion of the trainee program, attaining certification, and obtaining WI registration as a Pharmacy Technician, individuals will move into a permanent Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) position with Gundersen at a wage of $18.63/hour.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency
Completion of Math and English competency (at time of interview)
Ability to work full-time (scheduled for 40 hours/week)
Ability to work shifts including Day, PM, and rotating weekend hours
Ability to work at rotating locations: West Salem, La Crosse, Holmen, and Onalaska.
