Pharmacy Technician Trainee

About The Position
This is an on-the-job training position working with pharmacy technicians under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The position is conducted concurrently with a didactic pharmacy technician program and supervised experiential work. After completing both components, the candidate will be qualified to take the national pharmacy technician certification exam. The work requires organization and attention to detail, and involves frequent external interactions with MultiCare patients.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Washington State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Assistant license with technician-in-training endorsement, to be acquired before the start date.
Responsibilities
- Work with pharmacy technicians under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Participate in a didactic pharmacy technician program and supervised experiential work.
