Upon successful completion of the program, the Trainee will transition into a Pharmacy Technician role. Must be available to attend the 8-week Trainee Program, Monday- Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
Pharmacy Technician Trainee through Texas State Board (required)
RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician within 6 months (required)
Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computer, and basic math

Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation.
Reflect consistently departmental QI and PS standards, programs and initiatives.
Provide timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so.
Communicate effectively, develop working relationships and role model teamwork.
Manages own time and share the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage).
Complete other duties as assigned.
