About The Position
Provides training for a Pharmacy Technician position and supports operational efficiencies by assisting pharmacists with procuring, processing, and distributing information and pharmaceuticals.
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail- and accuracy-oriented.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of clinical staff and personalities.
- Current registry with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.
- Meet one of the following: completion of an Alabama Board of Pharmacy-approved technician training program; registration with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy before January 1, 2020; or two of the most recent four years of experience working as a pharmacy technician.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification.
Responsibilities
