About The Position

Great new Career Opportunity in Long-Term Care Pharmacy! Now Hiring – Pharmacy Technician Supervisor – Hours: Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., rotating weekends. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to: Daily management and scheduling of the Pharmacy Technicians, helping to establish, coordinate, and maintain daily work functions, overseeing job performance of technical personnel in accordance with established standards, assuring the competency of technical staff, and when needed assisting in performance improvement. They will also aid in the screening, selection, hiring, and orientation process for new staff, and provide ongoing staff support and development for the department.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years Pharmacy Technician experience
• 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Knowledge of brand name/generic drug names
• Knowledge of SIG codes
• Strong knowledge of Pharmacy Operations
