This per diem position in the Enterprise Pharmacy - Pharmacy: Transitions of Care Services Acute Care department at St. Luke's focuses on completing area-specific work according to standard processes and procedures. The role involves serving as an expert with equipment and technology in a specialized area, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation. The Pharmacy Technician Specialist will support communication and coordination with patients and the care team, identify quality improvement opportunities for safe and effective patient care, and contribute to operational changes and standardization. Participation in specialized work teams and committees is expected, along with compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. The individual will stay current with field changes, adopt best practices, and contribute to the education of others. This role also involves contributing to pharmacy department initiatives and accepting tasks from other pharmacy teammate roles as needed.
