About The Position

Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacotherapy for the Ambulatory Clinic at St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift - Monday - Friday from 8:30am-5pm The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist practice thru handling appointments, gathering and documentation of patient information through interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers. This role provides expertise in prior authorizations as applicable and may administer vaccines when in scope for the practice site. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician or Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
• 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB or 2 years of pharmacy technician experience if without national certification

Nice To Haves

• Coursework/Training: Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians)
• 1 year Customer Service experience
