About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of outpatient pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, and a consistent employment history.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Outpatient Pharmacy Technician experience.
- PA Pharmacy Registration is required.
- Must hold PTCB or CPHT certification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates should demonstrate employment stability and longevity; frequent job changes/job hopping may be a concern.
Nice To Haves
- Local candidates will be given priority.
- Previous experience in a hospital or health-system outpatient pharmacy is preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmacy information systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the outpatient pharmacy.
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and prescription processing.
- Enter and maintain prescription and patient information accurately.
- Assist with inventory management and medication stocking.
- Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide professional and courteous support to patients and pharmacy staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
