Requirements

Licensed Pharmacy Technician.
3 years of experience in the Pharmacy field.
Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
Efficient with computers and technology.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Must understand all Pharmacy related medical math concepts and be able to teach them to class.

Nice To Haves

Teaching and/or supervisory experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Instructing students in all aspects of the Pharmacy Technician Field.
Reporting and recording student performance and progress.
Preparing students in 182 hours of class time, to go on to a 120-hour externship in a retail or hospital Pharmacy.
Assisting students to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideas appropriate to the health care profession.
Providing a professional role model for students.
