About The Position

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin on our Inpatient Pharmacy team. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to pick, prepare, and deliver medications throughout University Hospital and American Family Children’s Hospital. This role involves controlling inventory and cost, and working with pharmacy automation and robotics. The ideal person will be team-motivated, have a high attention to detail, and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Confidence in mathematical skills is a must. Previous inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred
• 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program Preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
• Previous inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.
