About The Position

Full-time Pharmacy Technician-Inpatient. As the Pharmacy Tech you procure and distribute medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
Ability to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff.
Ability to respond quickly to emergency requests.
Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to workload and work schedule changes.
Ability to set priorities and solve problems.
Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing).

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy Tech Certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA) is preferred.
Candidates with provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA) will be considered.
2-3 years pharmacy technician, inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.
