Pharmacy Technician in Training- North Star Pharmacy
About The Position
VytlOne National Pharmacy Services is seeking a compassionate, customer service-oriented Pharmacy Technician in Training to work full-time in their VytlOne managed pharmacy at North Star Pharmacy in Londonderry, VT. This is a community healthcare center-based retail pharmacy where the pharmacy team will collaborate closely with providers and clinic staff, practicing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to ensure optimal patient care. VytlOne National Pharmacy Services, headquartered in Amarillo, TX, manages the pharmacy operations and personnel. The estimated pay for this position is $23-24/hr, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for inexperienced technicians and $3,500 for certified/licensed technicians.
Requirements
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service.
- Computer experience mandatory.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
- Greet customers and take prescription orders.
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers.
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked.
- Answer the phone.
- Input customer information into the computer system.
