About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician II performs technical support functions in the department under the general supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Certification and Registration as a Pharmacy Technician as required by the state.
Certification by NHA or PTCH National Pharmacy Organization
If not nationally certified, Minimum 1 year experience with as pharmacy technician with Encompass Health or: Minimum 2 year experience in FT/PT pharmacy technician role when joining Encompass Health
General office equipment such as computer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc.
Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Visual acuity, speech recognition, speech clarity.
Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds including medical supplies and equipment.
Ability to withstand prolonged standing and walking.
Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch are required for setting up and monitoring equipment.
Oral communication, written communication, active listening.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Information ordering, deductive reasoning, social perceptiveness, time management, critical thinking.
Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
Has regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and punctuality.
Adheres to dress code including wearing ID badge.
Adheres to Standards of Business Conduct.
