About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician II works under the direct supervision of registered pharmacists in accordance with Florida law, rules, and regulations. Responsible for assisting and supporting pharmacists in various aspects of the medication use process in a patient focused manner that supports and promotes medication safety, as well as responsibility for supporting the preparation and distribution of medications. The Pharmacy Technician II works in more advanced technician roles than the Pharmacy Technician I.
Requirements
- Active registration as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern in the State of Florida.
- Ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
- One (1) year of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role within SMHCS or comparable organization.
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification.
Responsibilities
