About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician II assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining records. This role works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or Current Pharmacy Technician license with “Student” designation issued by the State of Illinois

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records.
• Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
