Works under the supervision of the pharmacist and pharmacy manager to support dispensing functions, pharmacy operational maintenance activities, inventory management, patient care activities, and to meet regulatory compliance. Serves as a trainer and mentor to pharmacy technician and students.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
• Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• One (1) year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports the pharmacy manager with staff training and onboarding.
• Supports pharmacy manager and pharmacist with clerical and administrative functions.
• Provides patient assistance program support by assisting with documentation requirements, copay assistance, and other duties as necessary or assigned.
• Performs cross functional duties of Pharmacy Technician I.
• Performs activities related to pharmacy technician scope of practice.
• Maintains automated dispensing systems as needed.
