Pharmacy Technician II - Medication History
About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician II-Medication History works under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists to obtain medication history information for patients admitted to the hospital. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and other caregivers. The position is proficient in documentation within the Electronic Medical Record. The Pharmacy Technician II- Medication History also performs duties within the pharmacy, including medication distribution, intravenous admixture, pharmacy automation, and general pharmacy service operations. Under the supervision of the pharmacist, this role assists in the preparation and distribution of medications utilizing automation, packaging, labeling, charging, compounding, data entry, and delivery.
Requirements
- Proficient in documentation in Electronic Medical Record.

Responsibilities
- Obtain medication history information for patients admitted to the hospital.
- Document medication history in the Electronic Medical Record.
