About The Position

This entry-level position focuses on dispensing prescriptions to patients, operating the cash register/point of sale, and supporting pharmacy production. Production tasks include preparing labels, counting medication, entering insurance information, and performing initial prescription entry. Employees may perform other duties as assigned under the supervision of an advanced technician or pharmacist. The role also helps maintain a neat and clean dispensing area and may include training new employees, attending department meetings, participating in department projects, and performing advanced technician tasks as department needs require.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
