Pharmacy Technician I
About The Position
This entry-level Pharmacy Technician position works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The technician functions as a generalist, supporting an ongoing and efficient pharmacy department by assisting with processing medications or prescriptions for patients and appropriate patient care areas. The position also helps maintain a neat and clean dispensing area and performs functions needed in the pharmacy department’s daily routine. This is a per diem position, with work performed on an as-needed, mutually agreed-upon basis. The manager assigns working hours. The compensation range is $17.98–$25.17 per hour, depending on experience. The position is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtain Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB) certification within eighteen months of employment.

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Successful completion of a pharmacy technician training program.
