About The Position
Managed Healthcare Pharmacy, a Guardian Pharmacy, is seeking a Licensed Oregon Pharmacy Technician to join their Fulfillment Department in Eugene, OR. This is a part-time position ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are detail-oriented. The role involves operating an automated medication packaging system (SynMed) to ensure accurate and timely preparation of medications for long-term care facilities. While pharmacy experience is not required, a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential. The company emphasizes a supportive team environment and offers on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move large medication trays throughout the shift
- Dependable and show up ready to work
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
- Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, coachable, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working with technology and automated equipment
- Team players who are willing to help wherever needed
Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring the SynMed machine throughout the shift
- Loading and handling medication trays and packaging materials
- Verifying medication packaging and labeling accuracy
- Troubleshooting minor machine issues and contacting SynMed support when needed
- Communicating inventory, equipment, or medication concerns to pharmacy staff
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Following all pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements
