About The Position

Baptist Health is looking for a Pharmacy Technician Distribution Specialist to join our team in LaGrange, KY! The Pharmacy Technician Distribution Specialist is a certified pharmacy technician who supports the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication delivery and distribution under pharmacist supervision in a fast paced, high-volume facility with large scale automation. This role is accountable for medication fulfillment, distribution, and inventory management under pharmacist supervision and functions in a multiskilled environment providing excellent service through high-quality performance which requires the application of teamwork, leadership, and flexibility. The Pharmacy Technician Distribution Specialist is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with Baptist Health System policies, federal and state pharmacy regulations, and applicable accrediting body standards. This position will assist the department, under supervision by a pharmacist, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution.

Requirements

• High School/GED required.
• No Experience Required.
• Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Nationally Certified as a pharmacy technician.
