About The Position

Singlepoint Healthcare is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join their compounding pharmacy team. This role involves preparing and dispensing compounded medications, including antibiotics and inotrope therapies, while ensuring accuracy, sterility, safety, and timeliness of patient-specific prescriptions. The company focuses on reimagining chronic care for individuals with inflammatory diseases through an integrated model that combines medical providers, diagnostics, and pharmacy services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–5 years of relevant experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) — required in the state of practice

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred
• Experience in home infusion, compounding, or specialty pharmacy preferred
• Experience with pharmacy information systems such as CareTend or equivalent preferred
• PTCB certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, stage, and compound IV and other sterile medications under pharmacist supervision and in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards.
• Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and compounding tools, and assist with routine surface, environmental, and end-product testing.
• Complete required paperwork, verify calculations, prepare prescription and batch labels, and maintain accurate records for compounded products, formulations, and controlled substances.
• Monitor medication and supply inventory, restock materials, complete monthly expiration checks, and report expired items.
• Assist with laboratory testing, validation runs, and aseptic-technique verification to help ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support patient information entry, records management, phone communication, and coordination with nursing agencies, laboratories, physicians, and other departments.
