Per Diem The Certified Pharmacy Technician/Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Specialist, Per Diem supports patient care by assisting with symptom management, maintaining patient records, and coordinating pharmaceutical and durable medical equipment services. Reporting to the Senior Director of Pharmacy and Vendor Services, this role partners closely with pharmacy, DME, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be a registered Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
  • Previous Pharmacy Technician experience in a healthcare setting required
  • Must maintain certification through a nationally approved Pharmacy Technician certification board in accordance with Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy requirements.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy order entry, billing systems, electronic medical records, and pharmacy/DME benefit management systems.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to navigate multiple healthcare technology platforms effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Medical Assistant experience preferred.
