Pharmacy Technician - Benefit Verification Specialist

This is an onsite position working at our Cockeysville, MD Pharmacy. AIS Healthcare is the leading provider of Targeted Drug Delivery (TDD) and Infusion Care. We are looking for a pharmacy technician who will have a heavy focus on benefit verification and claims processing. Along with the verifications and claims processing the technician will partner with the pharmacy operation teams to troubleshoot hurdles that arise with processing patient prescriptions. The pharmacy technician may, when applicable, assist the pharmacy in day-to-day pharmacy operations and other activities as directed by their supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) equivalent.
- Holds a pharmacy technician license or registration in the applicable state of employment
- Holds a certification through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Pharmacy Technician Association (preferred) or completed within six months of hire date.

- 3 years of Home Infusion / Specialty Pharmacy practice experience.
