About The Position

This role supports pharmacy operations by providing essential distributive services and technical support to Pharmacists. Responsibilities include refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems, safely preparing sterile, non-sterile, and repackaged medications, managing the pharmacy supply chain through order preparation, receiving stock, and maintaining inventory levels. The role also involves frontline communication, triaging calls, and acting as a liaison between patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.

Triaged incoming calls and served as a key liaison between patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff to provide critical information.
