Pharmacy Tech - Per Diem
About The Position

Essential Core Responsibilities: · Restocks floor stock/automated dispensing machines. · Enters charges/credits against patient profile to ensure an accurate bill. · Monitors medication order reports to assign medication to an automated dispensing machine. · Delivers all medication in compliance with all DEA, DPH & State Board of Pharmacy regulations. · Repackages bulk supplies of medications in unit of use packaging in accordance with all Federal USP <795> & USP<800> standards. · Prepares and delivers IV medications in accordance with Federal USP <797> & USP <800> standards. Maintains records pertaining to IV admixtures, maintains cleanliness in sterile areas, and completes QA. · Checks for expired medications within the pharmacy & automated dispensing cabinets. Ensures that all expired/damaged medications are disposed of in accordance with RCRA, OSHA & NIOSH regulations
Requirements
- 0-1 years experience (entry level)
- High School Diploma/GED
- Registered Technician with State
- CPhT
Nice To Haves
- Hospital pharmacy experience
- Sterile compounding experience
