About The Position
The Pharmacy Tech will be responsible for various tasks within the pharmacy, including sterile compounding and hazardous compounding. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacy calculations, and drug names. The position is located in Evanston, IL.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current and valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification as required by the state.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sterile compounding and Hazardous compounding required
- Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy calculations, and drug names (generic and brand).
Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding.
- Perform Hazardous compounding.
