UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED.
- Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by the state of employment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.
- National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment).
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
- Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
- Does related work, as required.
