About The Position

This role is responsible for refilling and maintaining automated dispensing systems, preparing orders, and maintaining inventory for the pharmacy department. The Pharmacy Tech will also prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds, repackage bulk medications, and receive and store incoming supplies. Additionally, this position serves as a liaison between the pharmacy, patient, and health professionals by providing necessary information.

Requirements

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Must be PTCB certified and WI state-licensed.

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
Nonhazardous and Hazardous IV Room Experience preferred.
