About The Position
Seeking a full-time state-certified pharmacy technician specializing in retail/medication history to join our inpatient team in Florence, SC. This is a full-time position, primarily covering the 2nd shift with rotating weekends. The role offers state retirement and benefits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Successful completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program required.
- Pharmacy Technician Registration for South Carolina.
Nice To Haves
- College-level courses desirable but not required.
- Two or more years of experience in retail pharmacy/med history.
Responsibilities
- Assists in all pharmacy operations functions under the direct supervision of the pharmacist(s).
- Preparation and distribution of all doses of medication.
- Maintenance of drug inventories, including re-stocking automated dispensing cabinets, drug packaging/re-packaging, extemporaneous compounding, and code cart re-stock.
- Completion of patients' records pertaining to drug therapy, such as aminoglycoside protocol orders and drug charges & credits.
